Truman’s Hump Day Song of the Week: Get Lucky

My vicious zombie alarm.

Stay up late enough and you’ll see some weird (or repulsive) stuff on TV. Is it my imagination or does V. Stiviano have an Adam’s apple?

Dig around long enough on DOD computer networks and, apparently, you’ll find a contingency plan for combating the zombie apocalypse, according to this Foreign Policy article. Apparently, someone at U.S. Strategic Command used it as a training mechanism to plan for an apocalyptic calamity. Military types make a plan for everything. I’m positive some folks I know have a checklist for taking a dump.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also used the specter of an undead invasion as fodder for its tongue-in-cheek emergency preparedness blog. Here’s a helpful hint, kids: “When zombies are hungry they won’t stop until they get food (i.e., brains), which means you need to get out of town fast!”

No kidding, so I better get on I-95 right damn now. And as Daft Punk would argue, hopefully I can be a little lucky, too. Truman agrees – “Get Lucky” is his choice as this week’s Hump Day Song.

About Chairman Mao

I like fomenting socialist revolutions and purging my homeland of pseudo-intellectualism and capitalist dogma. I also like sports, dogs and food (although I wouldn't consider myself a foodie).
