Chairman’s War on Clowns

I hate clowns, particularly ones who resemble the child-killing Pennywise from Stephen King’s horror novel (and later movie) It. One clown in particular has been creeping out people in Northampton, England over the past several weeks.

Harmless, you say? You be the judge.

Here he is pictured above, holding balloons and waving at passers-by. Other times, he’s been spotted in the evening, just standing on a street corner.

Staring. Waving. Holding balloons, but never offering one. What do you think is going through his mind?

Would delight fill your heart if you encountered his bright red smile around the bend?

Or would fear freeze your senses as he curled his white-gloved finger and beckoned you closer?

About Chairman Mao

I like fomenting socialist revolutions and purging my homeland of pseudo-intellectualism and capitalist dogma. I also like sports, dogs and food (although I wouldn't consider myself a foodie).
