Final Word on Lane

There’s no shortage of hate for Lane Kiffin in the cyber-universe thanks to the people of the Tennessee. After Kiffin did everything he could to ensure USC lost to No. 1 Notre Dame 22-13 Saturday night, I offer you the snippet above, which was made after Lane bolted Knoxville for Los Angeles.

Wasted talent, wasted time, crappy discipline, ill-timed penalties, awful game management and abysmal leadership – all were on full display Saturday night and all can be expected next season because of USC Athletic Director Pat Haden’s “150%” support of Lane’s continued employment at Troy.

Oh well. Hyundai Sun Bowl, here we come! Get used to it, Trojans.

About Chairman Mao

I like fomenting socialist revolutions and purging my homeland of pseudo-intellectualism and capitalist dogma. I also like sports, dogs and food (although I wouldn't consider myself a foodie).

Sad end to the PAC-10/12 mantle bearers for…well…my entire life. The Trojans long standing dynsaty of the 21st century may come to an end on the shoulders of weak-a** Kiffin, then again, that freshman who can throw the ball 150 yards did look chalk-full of potential. Dont worry Chairman, at least you havent had to hold your head as low as us Golden Bear alums…we are a broken people.

Giff, thanks for putting things in proper perspective – especially after Cal fired its most successful coach in recent memory. Where’s Russell White when you need him? As for Troy … like the Jews who wandered the Sinai for 40 years, the Trojan Nation will meander for a while after we bury Lane Kiffin next year – with his head exposed just above the water line at low tide on Manhattan Beach. We suffered through a soul-sapping years of Paul Hackett before grabbing Pete Carroll. Let’s start combing the Classifieds for NFL has-beens and get the misery over with.
