Beat the Irish

“The Beverly Hillbillies” went off the air just before Lou Holtz coaching career began. Coincidence? I think not.

USC-Notre Dame tonight. The popular vote is for an Irish win behind a stout defense led by Heisman candidate Manti Te’o. Redshirt freshman Max Wittek will replace Matt Barkley as the Trojans’ quarterbook tonight. Coming off a loss to fucla, the outlook isn’t good – but it didn’t look good when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor, either:

The Trojans have absolutely nothing to lose, except the affections of some blue chip recruits who will be at the Coliseum. Unburdened by sky-high expectations, the Los Angeles Times’ Bill Plaschke predicted an SC victory.

Chairman’s prediction: USC 31, Notre Dame 28 (1 OT). Wittek throws 3 TDs – all to Marquise Lee. I saw it last night. Call your bookies now.

About Chairman Mao

I like fomenting socialist revolutions and purging my homeland of pseudo-intellectualism and capitalist dogma. I also like sports, dogs and food (although I wouldn't consider myself a foodie).
